ABOUT

Quinton always wanted to be an Artist or a designer due to the influence of his Architect father, Jim and Artist mother Freda . Following in his father's Architectural footsteps he had a successful architectural practice for many years but at the age of 44 decided to retire as he was worried of working himself into an early grave like his father who died of a heart attack at the age of 47!
After many family discussions plus numerous visits to a holiday apartment in Calahonda , Malaga Quinton`s family made the decision to move to Spain and after a year of getting used to their new life style , Quinton decided to follow in his mother's footsteps and took up painting ,teaching himself a impressionistic style similar to his mother, by watching art videos , reading books and using his architectural skills he had accumulated over the years . Now as the children have grown up he spends time between Spain and England . Over the years Quinton has built up a great reputation for producing unique art work that captures the essence of the subject in a well structured piece of art work that people can enjoy and depict a story or a memory every time they look at the painting.
